Why this position matters

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing Silicon Labs leaders with multi-dimensional support including strategic partnership, operational management, and employee mediation. You will advocate for business and functional teams to ensure that our talent strategies around attraction, retention and development are timely and effective. You will be responsible for the employee data and metrics for your client groups and proactively work with the people team to support global and local initiatives and communication in a way that champions and strengthens the Silicon Labs culture.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess an understanding of multiple human resource disciplines, including: compensation, employee relations, talent development, and performance management
  • Advise and influence on sensitive topics
  • Effectively communicate the roll out of HR initiatives
  • Provide first line support of Managers and employees on HR related issues
  • Drive culture & engagement initiatives, including communication of results & action planning
  • Research HR trends and analyze data to recommend solutions to the business
  • Facilitate internal mobility for Silicon Labs employees
  • Understand local labor laws so that we know our guardrails and can guide the business in staying compliant and doing the right thing
  • Support global projects and initiatives, working closely with team members across the world
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees

More indicators of success:

  • 5+ years of human resources experience in high growth technology companies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or Communications preferred.
  • Foundational understanding of at least 2 HR disciplines, including: compensation, employee relations, talent development, performance management, training, HRIS systems, employment law
  • Proven ability to apply judgment and discretion in handling sensitive issues and confidential information
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities and potential solutions. Ability to move quickly from issue to informed action.
  • Demonstrate success in building, leading and executing project plans
  • Strong skills in prioritization and collaboration, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with different teams
  • Strong analytical and data presentation skills (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Working knowledge of employment laws
