We recognize that diversity helps drive and foster innovation, and through our IDEA program (inclusion, diversity, equality and advocacy) at Fanatics we provide employees with tools and resources to feel connected and engaged in who they are and what they do to support the ultimate fan experience. www.fanaticsinc.com FP&A Senior Analyst / Manager HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT Overview As a key member of the Vertical Brands Finance team reporting directly to the FP&A Senior Manager, this role will be primarily responsible for leading the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close calendar alignment, analysis, consolidation and reporting; as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles across all Fanatics Global Brands segments. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate through multiple data sources, will serve as a key business partner to multiple teams across the organization (segments and corporate) and be instrumental in providing senior leadership with the required level of monthly reporting / dashboards required to drive strategic decision making. This position will additionally conduct financial analysis providing the necessary support to deliver solid financial results and business analytics for the global segment through interaction and collaboration with multiple segment, corporate and region stakeholders. This role will also provide ad-hoc support (scenario modeling, analysis and reporting) as needed to their direct manager and the Finance Director. Based out of Tampa, FL office, role requires 3 days per week in-office (Tue-Thurs) Responsibilities · Review financial results, develop summaries and analysis of segment and consolidated results with a focus on key metrics and trends · Develop, maintain, and distribute financial (P&L) models, reports / presentations and ad-hoc requests as needed · In charge of the preparation of financial-related content for business presentations, reporting decks for corporate reviews, monthly reporting and others as required · Support all key financial processes within FP&A including partnering with key stakeholders in segments and corporate to produce the annual budget, long range plan, monthly forecasts, reporting and analytical support · Coordinate and consolidate the annual operating plan as well as rolling monthly forecasts to provide early visibility of changes, risks and opportunities to the Director of FP&A and Segment CFO in a concise and effective manner · Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality · Strong cross-collaboration with corporate team to ensure alignment on timelines, calendars and deliverables · Streamline the forecast process, improve forecast accuracy, align across various teams and stakeholders, and facilitate meaningful forecast reviews with leadership · Prepare leadership-ready presentation materials including but not limited to monthly actuals/forecast reporting, CFO review packages, board of directors’ meetings, and ad hoc requests Qualifications · Attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy and overall quality of work as this role involves summarizing and integrating information, checking details, verifying calculations, critical evaluation, and logical analysis of data · Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, general business practices and financial statements · Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint and other technical skills (Anaplan, Tableau, etc.) · Prior experience in building / enhancing effective excel models / tools · Strong attention to detail and meticulous file / folder / version control · Demonstrated ability to be analytical, resourceful and gather data required for insight · Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines · Ability to maintain strict confidentiality around forecasts for new business initiatives and other critical / strategic projects · Effective communication skills (written, presentation, and oral) · Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and recommendations simultaneously · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline, or equivalent experience · 5+ years of FP&A, Strategy or related experience; Experience consolidating financial information across businesses is a plus Things We Care About · Your career growth, your ideas, your work-life balance, and your well-being. · Diversity and Inclusion · Our Company Culture and Values · Providing outstanding Company Perks and Benefits Tryouts are open at Fanatics!
