About the Position

We are looking to hire an experienced Commodities Options Trader, specifically someone with Oil Options experience, who can help us price and trade crude oil derivatives, develop models, manage risk, investigate new products, and push into new business areas. This is a highly collaborative role which involves working as part of an options team in New York to help develop and grow strategies. We anticipate the opportunity to expand into other commodity options as well in the near future.

Additional responsibilities of this role will include:

• Maintaining relationships with IDBs and bank counterparties
• Pricing and trading derivatives with banks, customers, and electronic screens
• Understanding of the institutional option flows landscape
• Managing risk for a complicated and diverse portfolio of derivatives
• Working with research to backtest and develop new trading strategies
• Improving and managing electronic trading systems

About You

• 5+ years of experience in commodity options trading
• Knowledge of systematic and large flows in commodity options
• Familiarity with exotic (eg APO) option trading and risk management
• Highly analytical thinker and proficient in probability and statistics
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eager to learn, adaptive, responsible
• Coding skills are a plus
• Fluency in English required
