Business Unit Overview:

The International Cash Management Group manages a suite of products that includes Prime and Government Money Market and Ultra-Short Duration Mutual funds and Separate Accounts. Job Purpose:

The International Cash Management Group team is seeking a Platform Strategist to support the APAC business, based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Product Strategy for the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the team with support in growing the Cash Management Group’s APAC presence, retrieving and analysing data, updating monthly portfolio review materials, preparing both internal and external investment strategy and business development material, compiling competitor analysis and ensuring the effective running of the Strategy team through regular and ad hoc reporting. In addition, the successful candidate will help to manage the client onboarding process working closely with the Transfer agent, Cash Portal Services team for Online trading access and become a subject matter expert in day-to-day operations of the Cash Management business.

The role will bring the individual into regular contact with stakeholders across the BlackRock business. Close interaction with all Cash business functions (Product Strategy team, Portfolio Management, Sales and Sales Support, COO and Marketing) will be expected, as well as with other key businesses within BlackRock – counterparts in the Client Business sales teams, Legal and Compliance etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Strategy team with preparation of both internal and external material to aid with internal education, client communications and client meetings
• Create and maintain product information: capabilities documents, product marketing presentations, etc. Work closely with other members of the team to create compelling product collateral
• Maintain and develop best in class reporting capabilities for our Separate Account Clients whilst adapting to client, market, and regulatory changes
• Source, analyse and summarise the competitor landscape
• Support the wider International Cash Management business with internal and external queries
• Support & input to DD / RFI / RFP questionnaires
• Work to coordinate efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that during the new business account onboarding process, client needs are fulfilled effectively

Knowledge / Experience Required:

• Preferred minimum 3+ years of experience with an analytical background and organised approach to work
• Analytical skills with an ability to understand and translate complex data points into both internal and external communications
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required, VBA, python beneficial
• Interpersonal skills to help foster an inclusive culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing
• Fluency in English required. Mandarin strongly desirable.
