Do you want to join one of the world’s most famous beauty brands and become part of a passionate team that drives innovation and a digital first approach? Clinique are pleased to announce an excellent opportunity for an Acting Consumer Engagement Manager within their Marketing team.

This role will lead on developing and executing a best-in-class Consumer Engagement strategy, ensuring that we deliver engaging, relevant content and messaging across key owned, earned and paid channels.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Consumer Engagement Strategy

Develop and execute a best-in-class Consumer Engagement Strategy.
- Strategy will have a data-first approach, ensuring that key business KPIs, as well as consumer trends are integrated and considered.
- Oversee all aspects of Consumer Marketing (Digital Media, Social, Content, Editorial, CRM and Insights) from conception, through to execution and measurement.
- Ownership of cohesive Paid, Owned and Earned media strategy.

Social & Digital Marketing

Responsible for leading and developing innovative, effective and efficient activations on paid digital channels, including Social, Search, Display and Online Video, driving consumer acquisition and deepening brand engagement and loyalty.
- Lead the team to ensure key launches, calendar focuses and high-traffic moments are supported with through-the-line paid activity, briefing media agencies and internal creative agencies as required.
- Identify and utilise consumer data insights and online behaviour to make informed communications choices, and formulate strategies that utilise the best targeting and tracking technology available.
- Drive creativity and innovation for best-in-class, customer focussed omni-channel communications. Test content, copy, formatting / ad types and channel diversification to maximise ROI based on business objectives.
- Key point of contact for media suppliers and agencies. Work closely with these teams to ensure Clinique is leading the way in digital media and innovation.
- Oversee creation, delivery and measurement of organic activity.

Content and Editorial

Oversee the development and continual optimisation of the UK content strategy. Lead on creative thinking within the team, ensuring that content shared across all channels is relevant and optimised to key consumer trends.
- Ensure content is in line with rigorous brand guidelines, but is bespoke to the UK, its consumers, and current trends.
- Work in collaboration with PR & Communication teams to leverage Influencers to generate content and boost owned and earned engagement.
- Implement the online editorial strategy, identifying opportunities for local content creation, ensuring copy is SEO optimised and amplified cross-channel to drive traffic to Brand site.

CRM and Consumer Intelligence

Oversee CRM team to deliver a best-in-class Loyalty and Retention strategy.
- Ensure that key business KPIs (Recruitment, Retention, Repeat Rate; plus hero product targets) are set and continually optimised across the year.
- Lead the team to ensure key launches, calendar focuses and high-traffic moments are supported with email, direct mail and SMS activity.
- Oversee the development of key lifecycle marketing activity across Brand.com and Retailers.
- Be a key voice in the development of the future roadmap, ensuring new tools and technologies are integrated into the team.
- Be a data-champion in the brand, leveraging industry-best data capabilities to ensure that Consumer Intelligence is at the heart of key business decisions.

Omni-Channel and Consumer Technology

Lead on developing Brand roadmap for delivering high-touch Omni-channel experience, including Virtual Services.
- Work with key functions in and out of Brand to ensure that new tools and technologies are leveraged to deliver enhance experiences instore and online.

Budget Management

Ownership and management of Advertisement and CRM budgets.

Team Management

Management of 3 direct reports.
- Team of 8 in total.


Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role

An expert in all aspects of Consumer Marketing.
- Strong digital expertise and experience in global brands and / or in digital media agencies.
- Multiple years experience of driving and implementing successful and innovative digital marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of data tools, tech innovation and digital trends.

Driven by analytical skills, consumer insights and data.
- Knowledge of key media channels across Google, Facebook, TikTok etc. is essential.
- Knowledge of CRM and / or Retention Marketing is ideal.
- Experience leading content / asset creation is ideal.
- Experience in successfully managing media agency relationships is essential.

- Creative and enjoys working in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
