You’ll be leading Product Marketing and Consumer Engagement teams, ensuring Visibility, Advocacy and Relevancy for the brand in the UK.

This high profile role is pivotal to the success of the La Mer brand and is responsible for the strategy and implementation of total omnichannel marketing and consumer engagement, across all consumer touch points to drive brand equity, sales and market share through both ecommerce and in store channels.

Key Roles & Responsibilties:

This role is responsible for leading and developing the following areas - Digital Marketing and Social Media, Product Marketing, Retail Trade Marketing, Events, Visual Merchandising, Communications, CRM and Consumer Insights.

• Creating and implementing a UK Region Marketing and CE strategy that supports the achievement of brand objectives across both brands including net/retail sales, operating profit, market rank, share and category objectives, all in accordance with brand guidelines

• Key contact to partner with Global to initiate and develop, where applicable, regionally relevant consumer programmes, assets and product development which are based on UK insights and additive to the global brand

• This role will work closely with the Marketing & CE Director and VP/GM to set the strategic priorities for the brand, identify and establish how to maximise opportunities to drive the business by engaging our identified key consumer target groups by category and channel, in an onmichannel approach

• This role oversees the total alignment of the marketing calendar and consumer engagement activities across all earned, owned and paid media, influencer and press communications, CRM, Events, In-store VM and Retailer programmes, creating highly desirable, innovative, equity driving 360 campaigns that drive sales on established KPIs across all on & off channels

• This role has a dotted line oversight of the CRM function and team, overlooking consumer lifecycle management for LM and driving retention via email/sms/retailer loyalty programmes as well as consumer and market insights

• As a close partner to Sales, Education, Ecommerce, Finance and Supply Chain the candidate will work collaboratively to deliver the direction of the brands and be accountable for excellence in execution across all consumer touch points

• Alignment of inventory demand and retail sales plan through accurate forecasting of saleable and non-saleable with Sales and Supply Chain

• Strategic budget management is key, applying zero based budgeting to develop programmes in line with strategic imperatives and managing the ongoing allocation of budget expenses in order to match objectives

• Strong relationship management is a must to the success of the role with extensive liaison with stakeholders in the Global New York & Paris offices, London, Kites Croft, the Field, Retailers, Press, external suppliers and internal teams.

  • Knowledge in luxury beauty is preferred but not essential
  • Team player, can-do, positive attitude
