Job Description

DPS Client Services provides industry-leading operational support to Visa DPS clients. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we are a key internal partner to product and technology, bringing the voice of the customer into the design, development and successful deployment of Visa DPS products and services.

Visa DPS Technical Solutions (TS) Consultants provide support and address operational issues for clients, Implementation Managers, Client Success Managers, and the Client Resolution team. As a TS Consultant within the Visa DPS Client Services team, you will also be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and consultation services to the above stakeholders relating to the operational aspects of payments processing. A successful Consultant will display high levels of business acumen, relationship building, and consultative-selling skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide settlement, reporting, and billing consultation as the clients migrate their payment processing to DPS.
  • Provide expert technical investigative support on complex issues to stakeholders.
  • Represent and advocate in product meetings to ensure that everyone is knowledgeable of client and/or internal staff impacts.
  • Consult in client deep dives to help a client solve for an internal issue, enhancement, and/or processing issues. ie: Client is unable to settle internal systems to reports being received from Visa DPS.
  • Consult and provide guidance to the Client Success staff on optimal transaction performance and configuration.
  • Lead payment processing working sessions for internal staff and/or clients, as needed.
  • Build extensive product knowledge in Visa DPS products and services.

Occasional travel may be required (25% travel)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • • A track record of a strong customer focus.
  • • 5+ years of experience in a Customer Support/Account Management role in the financial services industry, with payment processing knowledge strongly preferred.
  • • Familiarity of technical concepts within the DPS organization: ISO messages, authorization parameter files, DPS administrative systems, settlement, reporting, and billing.
  • • Candidate must be a self-starter and have a disposition to work independently with a commitment to detail in an organized manner.
  • • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • • Executive-level written and verbal communication, and customer interaction skills.
  • • Strong organization skills, including resolution management and follow up.
  • • Strong problem solving skills.


COLORADO APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Colorado is 90,200 USD to 117,300 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
