Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team in Greenville, South Carolina as a Fire Prevention Specialist! Lockheed Martin is regularly recognized for its industry leading Corporate Security organization. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics-Greenville is an industry leading Production and Sustainment Operation consisting of C-130J Hercules, UH-60 Blackhawk, F-16, plus Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS), a low cost, high output sustainment operation with numerous contracts throughout the world.
This position will serve as a Fire Prevention Specialist with the Security & Emergency Services, Crash, Fire, Rescue unit (CFR) in support of the Greenville Site.
Duties include but not limited to:
• Performs assigned firefighting and emergency response services tasks with established protocols and standard procedures.
• Participates as a member of the CFR emergency response unit in providing fire suppression and prevention services, medical services, hazardous spill response and specialized rescue operations in accordance with NFPA, Federal, State and local standards.
• Conducts inspections of fire extinguisher and fire systems e.g., sprinklers, fire hydrants.
• Operate and maintain emergency response vehicles e.g., fire trucks, ARFF, ambulances.
• Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, manipulate data.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have 3 or more years of Fire Fighting and/ or fire system inspection experience.
Experience with National Fire Protection Act (NFPA) requirements.
Microsoft Office Applications
Desired Skills:
• Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.
• Highly organized and have very advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of DCMA INST 8210, NFPA 25 and NAS 3306
• NICET Certifications
