Full Stack Engineer - Platform Developer Experience

Spotify is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform engineering organization. As an Engineer in Platform Developer Experience, you will develop tools and build features to level up Spotify engineers across the company. What You'll Do

• Be a valued member of an autonomous agile team to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives
• Continue showcasing our first-class developer experience throughout the Backstage community and for other engineers across Spotify
• Facilitate collaboration with other developers, product owners, and designers to tackle interesting and challenging problems for delivering various media worldwide
• Hack on what you want during bi-weekly hack days and annual hack weeks
• Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code and take operational responsibility for the components that you develop
• Ensure that our customer’s experience is the very best it can be

Who You Are

• You are passionate about delivering end-to-end experiences across the stack and diving into new technologies
• You have at least 2 years of experience delivering solutions using modern technologies, coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
• You care about web technologies, exploring data, user experience, and design and use all of that for building user-friendly web applications
• You have some experience in backend development and/or data engineering
• You have familiarity with industry-standard tools like Docker, Nginx, and how they fit into CI/CD pipelines
• You learn quickly and enjoy working closely together with your product team to bring value to your partners

• We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
• Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours
• Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone
