As a Junior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of all client-side aspects of our DAZN product, developing new features, and launching new platforms. DAZN is changing the way people watch sports forever and as part of DAZN, you will play a lead role in this by designing and building world-leading streaming services, working on new feature releases, and evolving the next phase of our application framework. Your Team We are responsible for all the customers' journeys from a Web Frontend perspective when a user is subscribing to DAZN services or when he is coming back in order to Sign himself into the platform. In short, we are building, fixing, and maintaining all the features visible to DAZN customers during the Sign-Up, Sign-In and password reset flows. This role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The internal job title is Junior Software Engineer – Frontend. As our new Junior Frontend Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver high-quality, robust, and testable code adhering to engineering best practices, code conventions, and development methodologies
• Work to continually improve software deployment to ensure iterative releases and rapid deployment of updates to our customers across all platforms
• Monitor system performance and resolve any issues or failures in staging or production environments

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

• Experience with JavaScript (es6+) or Typescript, CSS, and responsive design
• Professional experience with ReactJS (preferably), VueJS, or Angular
• Ability to write unit tests, and end-to-end tests
• Experience with REST API integration and HTTP
• Knowledge of Git

Even better if you also have:

• Experience in Javascript module bundlers (e.g. Webpack)
• Experience with AWS and Docker
• Ability to build automation and CI/CD
