Job Description

ADP is hiring a Program Specialist - User Champion I to focus on Retirement Services’ Service Technology efforts.

As a member of the RS Field Enablement Organization, you will play an integral role in the testing, deployment and change management efforts tied directly to the tools and technology used by Retirement Services’ customer facing teams. RS User Champions have full autonomy to take whatever actions they deem necessary to set front-line teams up for success.

This role requires effective communication and relationship management skills since RS User Champions serve as liaisons between and among front-line teams, Field Enablement, Product Owners (GPT), the RSLT, and other stakeholders.

The day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Service Technology User Champion may vary subject to business priorities, however, some examples are:

  • As part of service technology project-related work, you will gather, document, and analyze business requirements and participate in the development of project plans.
  • Actively participate in project meetings, working directly with developers and adding your voice to ensure associates' needs are considered in all aspects of development and deployment.
  • Act as a 'change agent', guiding the organization through every stage of change to ensure everyone understands the need for and benefit of the change.
  • Perform user acceptance and release testing.
  • Research and address RS specific service deck tickets on UCM & CEH.
  • Ensure leadership is informed at every stage of a project and address any concerns they may have along the way.

In addition to being a Subject Matter Expert on service technology and the role it plays in enabling our associates to service our customers, the following skills are required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly at every level of the organization

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with other members of Field Enablement to manage change related to service technology, drive awareness and set front-line teams up for success.
  • Assist in technology releases at night as needed. (Minimum of 2 evenings a month.)
  • Maintains a strong knowledge and high-level awareness of service tools and technology being used across the SBS portfolio.
  • Comfortable in testing, updating and learning new technologies.
  • Closes the loop with associates following a project’s close to validate that associates have realized the benefits of the change.
  • Collaborates with field leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure any project-related changes align with strategic initiatives to improve the associate and customer experience.
  • Proactively communicates strategy, direction, and results with field leadership as needed.
  • Is accountable for ensuring all functional areas are represented and understands and accepts the impact on the business and key stakeholders when assessing and approving changes to project scope and/or deliverables.
  • Serves as a liaison amongst field leadership and other key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for projects.
  • Determines success criteria for a project or change effort and monitors and reports on progress.
  • As needed, identify critical issues and remove obstacles to ensure the successful completion of a project or change effort. Function as the decision-maker on issue prioritization and resolution.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Knowledge of retirement services industry
  • 3-5 years of experience and/or exposure to multiple field disciplines preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Prior experience in the record keeping space.
  • Project management experience.
  • Change management experience.
