3E is looking for a Senior Chemical Regulatory Compliance Consultant to join our team. A background in product stewardship, product compliance or hazard communications is highly desired. We will consider candidates to work a hybrid schedule near one of our US offices in Canton, OH; Bethesda, MD or Carlsbad, CA.

In this role, you will work with a global team on a variety of consulting projects to include TSCA, REACH and more.

  • Lead, coordinate and manage Regulatory Consulting services projects (end-to-end consulting solution). Main responsibilities include: interpret regulatory requirements to analyze and answer client’s questions. In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements combined with practical experience of applying the requirements into a company’s compliance efforts.
  • Establish and develop 3E’s consulting best practices.
  • Work on projects that compile regulatory dossiers and prepare submissions, provide regulatory risk assessments, and offer strategic consultant services (incl. outlining pertinent regulatory obligations and responsibilities to guide client in their business judgement/ decision).
  • Coordinate and work with sales/ marketing team (and others) to grow regulatory consulting business. Assist in regulatory consulting RFI/RFP preparation and Statements of Work (as necessary). Establish and manage project plan with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the “go-to” person for understanding and analyzing clients’ business needs/ pain-points and offering regulatory solutions/ compliance strategies to clients.
  • Provide market intelligence insight to the Global Chemicals Regulatory Consulting competitor landscape in US, Europe and Asia.
  • Establish strong market presence for 3E’s Chemical Regulatory Consulting Services

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Chemistry/Biology/Environmental Science or Engineering or a degree in related field (e.g. product stewardship, public health, public policy, etc.) with demonstrated EH&S technical and regulatory expertise.
  • Experience in EH&S consultative sales, Industry, or consulting.
  • Experience in establishing regulatory compliance and audit program is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Global Chemical Management Regulations including GHS, REACH, TSCA, CMP with a demonstrated subject matter area of expertise is a must (minimum of 10-15 years of experience).
  • Strong regulatory analytical skill and business acumen to answer client’s problem/ issue in a timely manner is a must.
  • Knowledge of business strategy for EHS/ Chemical Regulatory Compliance is desirable.
  • Strong customer relations skills; Service oriented (incl. listening to client’s needs/ expectations as well as coming up with a creative solution to help clients)
  • Experience with project management responsibilities (external or internal) is a must.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team work. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of products and services available from 3E Company is a plus.
