This role will report to the Associate General Counsel, Global Direct-to-Consumer and will provide strategic legal support with respect to the global Direct-to-Consumer business, including commercial transactions, support for marketing and compliance within the Fanatics Commerce business Competitive compensation package offered. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad variety of commercial agreements, ranging from the day-to-day/routine to moderately complex transactions, including 3PL agreements, technology and software related agreements, services agreements and terms and conditions for merchandise purchases;
• Provide advice and counsel on marketing and promotions matters, including review of contest rules and digital content, including webpages and online promotions;
• Renders opinions and advice regarding the interpretation of contract provisions and other business law issues including advertising, marketing and privacy.
• Collaborate with other members of the Global Legal and Compliance Teams, including with respect to issues requiring subject matter expertise and oversee/leverage outside counsel, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Current member in good standing of a state bar
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience; prior in-house experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of marketing-related data privacy laws and practices is a plus
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with confidence to communicate with business leaders and all level of employees
• Practical and proactive problem solver with a positive attitude
