Posted: Aug 1, 2022 Role Number: 200407102 Apple is opening its doors to the next group of up-and-coming creative talent to join the Orchard—a selective yearlong residency program within Apple’s Marketing Communications group. We’re talking about creative problem solvers like you. During your time with the Orchard, you’ll be right in the middle of Apple’s creative process. You’ll work on real projects, meeting real deadlines. You’ll form relationships and collaborate with designers, art directors, writers, strategists, web developers, video producers, and interactive creatives. And if you give it all you’ve got, you’ll have the opportunity for full-time employment in the end.

You’ll break down briefs, contribute innovative ideas, and challenge the way we do things at Apple. It won’t always be smooth or easy. You’ll make mistakes and have to start over. ROLES AVAILABLE WITHIN ORCHARD PROGRAM: - Art Director Contribute to creative conceptualization and design execution that follow Apple's marketing and advertising strategy and creative direction. Partner with business teams, project managers, and Creative Directors to refine design elements within a wide variety of mediums and develop creative solutions. - Copywriter Craft copy that demonstrates an understanding of the Apple voice but also breaks free from past constraints. Partner with business teams, project managers, and Creative Directors to refine copy elements within a wide variety of mediums and develop creative solutions. - Designer Craft innovative and compelling design— from ideation to execution— with a working knowledge of design principles, branding, and art direction. Work optimally using design software, primarily the Adobe Creative Suite. - Motion Designer Design and animate solutions to craft adaptable motion design systems that visually communicate Apple’s message across retail and channel digital content. The work spans a broad range of visual styles from highly detailed product ads to illustrative brand identity campaigns. Thorough understanding of design principles, animation principles, motion theory, typography and visual communication is required. - Brand Manager Work as part of the Brand team, supporting and partnering with Brand Managers on all aspects of strategy, creative development and execution. Support key integrated campaign launches across channels and geographies. - UX Designer Use design thinking to support efforts across a multitude of Apple’s digital touch points. Partner with designers, writers, and technologists to articulate the user experience for customers. - Interactive Producer Partner with cross-functional and business teams to drive Interactive projects and take ownership for their success. Supervise project schedules and timelines, excelling in communication with various groups to create efficiency and produce results at scale. - Interactive Content Strategist Partner with brand planners and interactive creative directors to define the ways in which people experience Apple in digital channels. Plan, make, prioritize, connect and measure marketing content, continually improving the content user experience. - Connections Planner Work with a team of forward-thinking Communications and Media specialists to help develop global integrated communications strategies for multiple lines of business. Collaborate across various teams to build plans that consider cultural and market trends, media data and platform insights, consumer research, and .com consumer path, ultimately leading to strategies that optimally connect our products to our consumers. - Video Producer Work as part of the Video Production team, organizing and maintaining production logistics and assisting Senior Producers in overseeing creative standards in our marketing production efforts. Partner with producers and creatives to develop content and experiment with shooting, directing and editing small scale, nimble productions. - Web Developer Create interactive user experiences for apple.com using JavaScript libraries on a wide scale. This includes building Apple-quality user experiences, architectural planning for Front End technology, and collaborating on data formats and APIs with partner teams and creatives. - Digital Artist - Visual Development Working on the intersection of design and technology you will develop conceptual imagery that is explored in still and motion in close collaboration with creative partners. The work spans a broad spectrum of styles from highly detailed product ads to brand identity campaigns. Thorough understanding of design principles and 3D content creation - modeling, texturing, lighting and animation - using Cinema4d, Maya or an equivalent 3D app required.
