Job Description

Software System Designer / Requirement Engineering for Hybrid/Electric powertrain
Handling and tracking of assigned SW Change Requests in Change management tool
Create software design document, break down requirement on SW package level and prepare CRQs for in-house project teams and also function development teams.
Lead discussion & technical clarifications with OEM on assigned functional change requests
Coordinate SW CRQ between customers, project team and function development teams
System Tests, Delivery Tests to be performed on semi-closed loop vehicle simulators called Lab Engines
Create and maintain critical project artefacts (DRBFM, FMEA, System Specific Data etc)
Support project managers (ECU-PjM & SPjM-SW) with evaluating technical requirements / risks for project
Direct OEM communication
Required to work at customer location on need basis (South Korea)

Qualifications

Qualification: BE in EE/ EC/Instrumentation
Experience: 4-8 years of experience in SW system designing.
Good grasp on vehicle powertrain for conventional/hybrid & electric platforms.
Proficiency in DOORS for requirement documentation & ASPICE methodology.
Expertize in validation tools like INCA, Canalyzer, Busmaster & UDE.
Good overview of Multi core concepts, SW sharing methodologies & E/E architecture.
Familiarity with Cyber security, Ethernet communication & charging protocols is added advantage.
Good know-how about ECU-SW & HW including HIL test setup and validation.
Strong exposure to PS development environment & tools SDOM / RQ1.
Knowledge about DRBFM, FMEA is added advantage
Should take initiative and responsibility.
Exposure to vehicle testing and closed loop lab cars.
Good communication skills, self motivated and initiative to work in unclear environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work independently and interact with multiple stake holders
Is able to handle complete engineerring responsibility for dedicated functions
