Job Description

We are looking for an Embedded Software Test Engineer who is willing to work on a project where each team member contributes to the SW Development success of Active Safety (AS) systems. Technical curiosity paired with a passion for engineering is a must for this role, we are looking for someone who applies strategic problem solving and enables the team to understand even the most complex technical challenges down to the last bit. Eagerness to own SW/SYS testing topics as per the V Model Software Development Life Cycle is necessary.

Key responsibilities:

• Requirement analysis.
• Test specification / test case development.
• Test automation.
• Test execution.
• Defect management.
• Hardware in Loop (HIL) debugging.
• Coordination with customer.
• Responsible for quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electronics, Electrical or Computer engineering.
• 7-9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in SW testing and system testing.
• Understanding the system/functional requirements.
• Programing skills (i.e Python / CAPL / Perl) / Test Automation Experience
• Knowledge on process (SDLC / STLC / V-model).
• Experience with CAN protocol
• Experience in diagnosis modules (UDS protocol)
• Experience in defect management.
• Knowledge on SW Configuration management. (Ex: Clear Quest, ALM-RTC).
• Must be highly collaborative, pragmatic, quality oriented and delivery focused.
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
• Experience with Vector tools (CANoe / CANalyzer, VNs, Vxs)
• Experience in Hardware in Loop Testing
• Team player with good communication and coordination skilss
• Proficient in English (CEFR B2-C1).

• Master’s degree
• Understanding of Project Management basics.
• Knowledge about ESP system and algorithm + vehicle dynamics.
• Knowledge about Jenkins environment.
• Experience working with agile methodologies:
• Continuous integration and continuous testing.
• ISTQB Advanced level certification
• ASPICE Knowledge
