Responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance/control programs to ensure effective and efficient policies, processes, and procedures are aligned and followed. Conducts quality reviews and delivers results to appropriate stakeholders and develops action plans for success.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
- Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
- Uses expert knowledge to provide guidance in the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of highly complex quality assurance/control programs, practices and policies.
- Identifies and evaluates quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure effective and efficient business solutions.
- Designs, directs, and executes quality assurance/control programs, and provides guidance, oversight, and communication on quality program decisions.
- Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts of quality methods and tools to identify, analyze, improve, and implement business solutions.
- Recommends and facilitates policy and procedural changes. Develops quality standards and ensures alignment with internal practices and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluates and oversees success measurements. Manages the development and implementation of training programs and materials to meet quality requirements, ensure compliance with legal standards, and align with CoSA/LOB and Enterprise strategy.
- Consults with business stakeholders and advises senior management on review results, trends, studies, and initiatives, and recommends courses of action.
- Serves as a primary resource for escalated issues of an unusual nature and may provide coaching to team members as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 8 or more years progressive operations or process experience.
- 4 years of quality assurance, control or quality improvement experience.
- Expert knowledge and experience in analyzing data, identifying trends, and influencing decisions on recommended strategies to remedy issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory laws and best practices.
Preferred Experience:
- Proficient in all aspects of Auto Claims handling to include and not be limited to Bodily Injury, First Party Benefits, Coverage analysis, Liability analysis, and Material Damage expertise including the ability to review and audit vehicle estimates.
- Experience serving as a primary resource for all Auto Claims audit reporting as well as preliminary audit creation documents.

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $97,200.00 - $175,000*(this does not include geographic differential it may be applied based on your work location)
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
*Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium: will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
