Knowledge Engineer

Key Role:

Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and comprehend how Combatant Command users interact with core or business process and products. Assist the team with continual assessment of the the information environment and recommend improvements using IT and collaborative tools. Conduct technical analysis as directed by the government to enable data driven decisions to identify options or to validate courses of action in development and execution of Enterprise level services. Assist with the development of SharePoint and Knowledge Management (KM) tools based in support of user requirements. Support the development of a KM strategy that will centralize data, standardize data elements, share database information, use common IT systems, and expose IT data or services for maximum information sharing.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Knowledge Engineer or Knowledge Manager
• 3+ years of experience as a developer using SharePoint and UI or UX
• Experience providing technical analysis of information environments and knowledge management capabilities to enable development and better usage of KM tools and processes
• Experience with CCMD or MAJCOM business processes, directives, and directive management systems
• Experience as a site owner for Microsoft SharePoint
• Ability to develop technical papers and presentations with a senior government civilian and military leadership audience
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience as a Web designer
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): App Builder Certification or previous MCSD Certification
