What does this role look like?
Senior Staff Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems (HSWS) Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) missile weapon system development and integration across land-based and sea-based launch platforms with requirements verification and validation, assembly, integration and launch testing, performance analysis, and system trades. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. You will plan and execute the integration and test program by providing key technical solutions. You will develop test plans, implement tests, develop test documentation, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of components, elements, support equipment, subsystems and/or systems. The execution of this program will require this individual to lead/support various Flight Test and Ground Test events as the Certified Test Conductor (CTC) where travel will be required. As a CTC you will lead test efforts, including test equipment specification and system element simulator development, to ensure mission success for Zumwalt (DDG-1000)-class Integration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in system integration and test of flight hardware and/or ground support equipment (prefer 12+ years) including experience as a project/IPT lead (prefer 4+ years)
US citizen w/ a Secret clearance to start and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• 12 years of experience in system integration and test of flight hardware and/or ground support equipment, including 4 years experience as a project/IPT lead
• Shipboard weapon system integration experience including coordination with US Navy for certifications, demonstrations, and tests
• Current LM Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification or equivalent
• Working knowledge and experience with Automation Framework
• Demonstrated Engineering knowledge and related processes in the areas of test discipline with a focus on error prevention and safety, controls logic and data acquisition & instrumentation
• Experience with lab/ground/flight hardware systems integration and the flight testing of military missiles, launch vehicles, spacecraft or aircraft
• Experience with COTS equipment and system integration, mechanical/electronic troubleshooting and use of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Test & Integration
• Knowledge of the latest Test and Measurement Equipment (T&ME) and techniques preferred
• Proposal experience (including proposal generation, BOE justification, fact finding experience)
• Experience with CONOPS for US Navy Weapon Systems Programs
• Earned Value Management Systems CAM experience
• Proposal experience developing strategies, technical solutions, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), plans and schedules
• Technical lead experience on a major project
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
