The Role As a Workday Architect on the HR Tools team, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing Workday HCM solutions alongside oversight of the general health of the system while considering the long term vision of the product and organizational needs. You will serve as an important partner to Internal teams, product managers, and the People team. You can track and stabilize projects, remove roadblocks, and anticipate the needs of internal partners to ensure your outcomes meet the most critical business priorities.

Core Responsibilities

    • Provide architectural consultation across all Workday modules and integrated solutions, including Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent and Performance, Learning, Payroll and Reporting with an emphasis on Core HCM, security and integrations.
    • Drive towards Workday best practices for system architecture, design, and build across the “Hire to Retire” ecosystem and integrated enterprise business systems to maximum the value of the platform.
    • Participate and advise on the evaluation and selection of People technology systems and enhancements, and lead the charge on defining solution viability from both a technical and business perspective
    • Partner with both technical and non-technical resources in cross-functional design sessions to build requirements accounting for customer needs and good design principles which can scale as the organization grows.
    • Support development of multi-year People technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and our IT engineering, data, and infosec teams
    • Identify and validate technical risks and develop mitigating approaches.
    • Build and manage relationships with leaders across People and IT teams to influence and advise the best use of Workday out-of-the-box tools and features.

What We Value

    • 5+ years of Workday solution design and implementation experience at a global public company; experience with multiple global companies is a plus.
    • Deep understanding and knowledge of business process and system architecture across the “Hire to Retire” value stream and their dependencies and impacts across the enterprise technology ecosystem.
    • Ability to define problems effectively, curate and analyze relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid and concrete conclusions to make and support sound recommendations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to comfortably interface with internal client’s senior leadership.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads and activities.

Salary The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $95,000 - $169,000/year. Total compensation for this position may also include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
