Job Overview

As Manager of the Inline CASB/SWG team, you will lead a team of world class engineers who
design, implement, and enhance Netskope Cloud Access Security Broker [CASB] and Next Gen
Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions to solve some of the most challenging cloud access &
data security problems for enterprise customers. Netskope is looking for an experienced
engineering leader who is passionate and motivated to make an impact in creating a robust and
scalable engine for supporting all enterprise SaaS apps. Come join other industry experts and

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the DPI engine team which supports Netskope's cloud based security solution for the enterprise SaaS applications.
• Showcase thought leadership in designing, developing, and maintaining Netskope’s CASB and Secure Web Gateway solutions.
• Build processes to monitor, analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of Netskope’s cloud datapath services.
• Collaborate with the product managers, the signature team, and translate the requirements to engineering design spec and enhance the DPI engine to support the requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery.
• Work with customer support quality engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with rapid turnaround time.
• Work closely with the SRE/Operations teams to effectively monitor health of the services across all data centers, support them identify and mitigate issues as well as during cloud release rollouts & upgrades.
• Involve in the complete product life cycle starting with research on various requirements,understand/define functional specs, work with the team in converting them into concrete design and implement them with high quality.
• Manage high profile talents, coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progress of team members
• Leadership skills to build high performance teams & continuously raise the bar on innovation, quality and efficiency. Hire, train, motivate, reward and retain top industry talent.

Preferred Qualification

• B.E /B.Tech /M.Tech degree from a recognised and accredited university/college
• Minimum 10 + years of work experience with 3+Years in managerial role

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing high profile talents across all levels.
• Ability to coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progress of team members
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, web proxies, L7 DPI solutions, TCP/IP networking.
• Exposure to various development/debugging tools (e.g.github, gdb, make, profiling,memory/debugging) on Linux/Unix.
• Programming experience in C/C++.
• Programming experience in Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with web data formats like JSON, MIME,XML, HTML
• Working experience in any of the products like SWG, Firewall, IPS is a big plus.
• Good understanding of cloud based services, deployment such as Kubernetes and Docker is desired.
• Excellent analytical and reasoning/ problem-solving skills
• Ability to suggest coding best practices and bring in effective code review feedback.
• Flexible in coordinating with global teams and encouraging round-the-clock efficiency.
