At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. The role will be based preferably in the US, UK or in Singapore and global travel will be required when necessary.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

In Nov 2022, GoDaddy has transitioned Media & Search organization within Central Marketing to enable effective and efficient storytelling at GoDaddy. The Media team will drive functional leadership to strengthen GoDaddy’s media and marketing capabilities and inspire, frame and train significant changes for driving efficiency and innovation across markets globally.

The Digital Channel Lead will report into the Head of Global media and will work to elevate the GoDaddy performance and brand media strategies within digital channels to build efficient consumer and brand experiences in media.

The Global Digital Lead will lead full funnel digital channel strategies across performance & brand with clear metrics and budgeting for all Business Units USI, GDI (global markets outside US), Partners.

This is a performance first role with a deep insight into how digital channels work and an eye on incrementally & experimentation. The role involves working with numerous partners and analytics teams to map consumer journeys, media insights that can foster into the digital strategies strategy and building measurement frameworks to connect media to business outcomes. You will work closely with the Brand Team, Creative team, Market GM’s / BU heads to better understand the brand, the business challenges and initiate strategic directives that will capitalize on any possible opportunities across the key global markets.

This role we will need to work with local market teams & channel teams with the purpose to turn high level strategic plans into productive localized implementation plans and build WOW’s (Ways Of Working) that will help market improve the impact of their marketing investments.

What you'll get to do...

  • Create, develop and communicate the Digital Channel Strategy for US, ROW+, India, Canada, UK & Australia
  • Develop roadmap and goals in collaboration with channel leads and market GTM’s
  • Create a single measurement framework and KPIs that align across funnel and channels
  • Allocate budget per channel in collaboration with Media Strategist collaborating with BU Leads; supervise pacing
  • Co-ordinate go to market plans across SEM, SEO, Paid Social, OLV and Display
  • Support channel lead execution specifically for customer journey mapping, messaging alignment, audience coordination & ensure cross channel efficiency
  • Drive the creation of analytical tools / dashboards and data-led measurement methodologies in collaboration with internal data scientists
  • Be responsible for data-driven optimization, increasing the value of our investment whilst developing strategic recommendations
  • Be responsible for the impact of channel campaigns against global goals
  • Take overall responsibility for experimentation roadmaps and execution, improving velocity and impressions under experimentation
  • Prioritize experiments and rollouts that enhance global impact
  • Support cross-channel automation and adoption and provide feedback for further innovation
  • Maintains overall Advertising relationship with global platforms, supporting access to new programs and data scientists whilst holding platforms accountable to GD goals

Your experience should include...

  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and can work optimally in an ambiguous environment.
  • 12+ years of deep experience in performance and digital executional thinking within commerce, tech and travel related industries with experience in evolving measurement frameworks.
  • Expert leader with validated impact at C-suite level & strong team leadership skills with proven success at leading teams across geographies. A more globally rounded experience in markets like US, Canada, Australia, UK in digital media environments is a plus.
  • Experience of campaign execution within digital platforms including Google Ads, DV360 and META
  • Able to analyze channel performance and trends independent of the Analytics org.
  • A commitment to excellence with a positive and resilient demeanor.
  • T-shaped attitude of balancing left-brain organization and right-brain creativity
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or business. MBA a plus.
  • Extraordinarily strong communications and presentation skills – Ability to turn sophisticated topics into simple concepts
  • Strongly results oriented with demonstrable track record of success.
