The D&A team mission: Help our Business partners make strategic decisions through sustainable and governed data assets and compelling visuals.
The Data & Analytics Solutions Data Engineer lead, will develop and oversee the build of data assets within our Enterprise Data Lake and Datawarehouse environments across a variety of lines of business (Marketing, Retail, Finance, Supply chain etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end design, build and roll-out of optimized data products relying on approved architecture and global ELC standards and framework
• Gather data and analyzes business and user needs to then communicate options, estimates and risks
• Prioritize development based on an Agile approach to meet tight timelines while addressing multiple workstreams
• Recruit external partners when needed and ensure spend remains within budget
• Engage with stakeholders, and coordinate back-end user testing initiatives
• Mentor junior team members and develop the team’s literacy when it comes to cloud data lakes and data warehouses

Functional Skills:

• Strong SDLC and project management experience. Comfortable working with Agile methodologies
• Ability to quickly analyze various data sets and identify their complexity, gaps and relations with other data assets (Strong data analysis skills)
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical specifications and requirements & efficient solutions designs
• Comfortable working in matrixed organization and balancing needs of multiple stakeholders
• Excellent organization and communication skills coupled with a rigorous working process

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• Masters Cloud Data Warehousing, Data Lake and ETL concepts
• Proficient with Enterprise Cloud platforms especially Azure and its main components (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse)
• Expertise in SQL, Python and data modeling
• Experience in Machine Learning is a plus

Leadership Skills:

• Experience mentoring and leading junior team members, providing both long-term vision and day-to-day guidance
• Proven experience managing or working with cross functional teams in mid-to-large scale, complicated projects
• Collaborates and communicates with multiple stakeholders, encouraging creativity when problem-solving and leveraging best practices, as appropriate
