As an Engineering and Technology (E&T) Associate Manager, you will be responsible for the management and development of the team, support of department initiatives, driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.
The manager will:
- Develop the team
- Provide technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and act as the employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
- Engage with a diverse employee base and determination of the best roles to fit their skillset.
- Support functional initiatives.
- Will coordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.
- Drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.
- Will support program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and will serve as the technical conscience for their program.
- The manager ensures cost, schedule and technical commitments are met.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or computer science.
- Experience managing Software development Projects.
- Experience leading teams of software engineers.
Desired Skills:
- Experience on JSF ALIS program.
- Experience with managing software for large scale system.
- Experience applying DevOps development methodologies.
- Experience with COTS integration into software system.
- Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams.
- Experience with ALIS AVDH/Health product
- Experience interfacing with DoD customers.
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.
- Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development experience.
- Proposal Development.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
