Position Overview

This role will develop and maintain analytics for the different business organizations across ELC, including dashboards development, data transformation, Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive analytics. This resources needs will work very close to its global business customers and has to understand the business needs and context to be able obtain the key business questions and provide insights to communicate it to Senior Management.

These resources also should be able to create data models to provide such insights and to be able to communicate them through data visualization tools as Tableau, Power BI and Anaplan

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the different business organizations
• Define and identified the personas and understand their business needs for analytics.
• Identify the key business questions and their purpose that will drive the analysis
• Define the metrics, analyze the available data and join sources to get the correct insights.
• Determine the best visualization of the analysis story line
• Collaborate with workstreams to generate insights that enable business decisions

Data Wrangler

• Collaborate with EDM and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and connectivity
• Preparation of data for Dashboard, Descriptive, Predictive and Prescriptive analytics models.
• Lead the Data Wrangler Team
• Dashboard design and development, working in collaboration with the Data Scientist Team
• Predictive and Prescriptive model development, working in collaboration with the Data Scientist Team

Data Scientist

• Communicate the background and business insights to the Senior Managers for business workstreams, analyzing big data.
• Lead the analytics process with the stakeholders for Descriptive, Predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Leads dashboards and analytics models design
• Make data drive analysis to enable business decision making
• Design and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models to ensure the highest accuracy according to the business need.

Qualifications

• Major in Business, Industrial Engineering or IT
• 3.5 Years
• Fully bilingual, English and Spanish.

• Required: PowerBI (intermediate), Excel and Python (basic or above)
• Desired: Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx
