Program Overview for Sustainable Cities and Transport

About your Role:
WRI India seeks a motivated Program Associate to provide research and analysis support to various projects in the electric mobility sector.
How your day will unfold:
• Lead the development of the geospatial analysis work for EV charging infrastructure
• Create spatial maps and infographics to represent findings of geospatial analysis work
• Support the development of knowledge products (e.g., reports, briefs, data-products) – independently and as part of a larger team working on specific deliverables.
• Independently conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of the electric vehicle market in India, and globally.
• Provide support in organizing events, workshops, webinars etc. and develop presentations/discussion materials for the same.
• Liaise with academic experts, industry professionals and other external stakeholders to gather data, perform analysis, produce project reports and presentations.
Qualifications and Requirements we seek:
• Master’s degree in urban planning, transport planning, or other relevant disciplines, with an excellent academic track record
• Proficient knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro is mandatory
• At least 2-3 years of experience in spatial analysis and modelling (e.g., use of ArcGIS Spatial Analyst tools, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of Open Street Map and Google APIs for spatial data, and familiarity with other spatial and non-spatial data resources (e.g., Census of India, Economic Surveys, etc.) required
• Excellent spoken and written English, with some demonstrated experience with writing blogs, short reports, etc.
• Strong visual presentation skills for creating graphics, maps and making presentations
• Good Excel skills, with experience using formulas and linked worksheets
• Knowledge of electric mobility domain is preferred
Salary and Benefits: 8,00,000 to 9,00,000 CTC PA
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
Duration: 1 year (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, India
