The Role As part of expanding into a new industry of focus for Veeva’s Quality and Regulatory Management solutions, Veeva is looking for a key new hire to initiate, grow and lead the implementation services team, in the area of Consumer packaged goods and Chemicals (CP&C). This is a pivotal role in the new CP&C team for Asia/Pacific, working with the senior management and General Manager to communicate Veeva’s value proposition and implementation offerings to prospects & customers, as well as building the team’s capability as customer implementation projects start to ramp up. Candidates will also contribute ideas and work with the CP&C team to innovate and refine our internal offerings & processes, and improve our delivery model to meet the dynamic needs of our customers.
What You'll Do
- Be the key point of contact with customers & prospects on Veeva’s implementation services offerings, and a customer’s specific implementation requirements and strategy
- Understand customer requirements and translate into engagement work programs, including services work estimations & proposals
- Be called on to engage with multiple prospects & customers in the Australia/New Zealand and South-East Asia region as Veeva positions its Quality and Regulatory Management solutions to the companies in the CP&C industry.
- Be called on to play multiple roles in early customer implementations, which may involve an element of individual contribution as well as leading others in the team
- Be able to recruit and hire other individuals into your implementation services team as customer need and organisation growth dictates
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering consulting services, including involvement in scoping, estimating & selling services, and leading a team of team of consultants
- Experience implementing content and/or data management systems with the ability to comprehend and translate business requirements and create corresponding solutions designs
- Demonstrated work history in critical thinking skills, ability to conduct complex and technical communications in a wide variety of settings and audiences, and the determination to see client success with solution implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive-level presence, and experience in facilitation and negotiation
- As it is safe to do so, have the ability to travel 25% to 50% for engagements with customers & prospects
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with systems such as Veeva Vault, ETQ Reliance, Sparta TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum D2, FirstDoc FirstPoint, NextDocs, UL ComplianceWire, and other quality information management or content management systems
- Understanding of global quality requirements, compliance considerations and processes for Quality process and content management, Consumer Products/FMCG/Food & Beverage, and/or computer systems validation
- Experience working with large, multi-national customers across the Australia/NZ and South-East Asia region
- Locality to major airports for when travel can safely resume
