Business Unit Overview
The iShares & Wealth sales team develops and maintains relationships and drives flows with fund investors in Eastern Europe, Germany, and Austria (EEGA). The Asset Owner Coverage team manages the relationships and drives ETF and Index Investing dialogues with insurers, corporates, pensions, consultants, official institutions, and non-profit organizations.

Job Purpose/Background/Responsibilities:

The iSW Asset Owner Sales Team in Germany is seeking a high-energy and motivated Junior Salesperson (Analyst) based in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to build new and develop existing relationships with Institutional clients, owning the sales processes required to support the broader sales function in meeting their business objectives. The role will bring the individual into regular contact with stakeholders across the BlackRock business such as Portfolio Analysis and Solutions, Capital Markets, Marketing, Product Development, Institutional client business Group and the broader BlackRock European and Global teams.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Partner with senior sales team to support the sales and business development process
• Respond to client requests and manage client communications efforts to promote continuous sales dialogue and build client relationships
• Perform in-depth analysis of the competitor and product landscape
• Help identify new business opportunities and upcoming product searches
• Prepare product presentations, social events and attendance of those events
• Maintaining CRM systems, sales pipeline and ensuring best practice record management across the sales function
• Contribute to our diverse and inclusive work environment

Knowledge/Experience

• 0-2 years of experience, preferably with a sales background and an organized approach to work
• Knowledge of financial markets and understanding of the asset management industry
• A keen interest in the future of technology within the asset management sector
• Interpersonal skills to help foster an inclusive culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing

Skills/Qualifications

• University master’s degree or comparable degree
• Banking, finance and/or investment knowledge or interest
• Client and sales oriented, very high-quality standards
• German mother tongue; Fluent spoken and written English
• Good know-how in MS-Office tools
