Job Description

You will bring your passion for B2B marketing and collaborating with Sales to a role where you see the direct impact of your efforts every day.

You will support the strategy, planning and execution of account-based programs across several key segments within Avalara. You will have the opportunity to create impactful ABM programs from the ground up, with guidance from experienced leaders and Avalara subject matter experts to ensure our targeting is optimized, our key channels are leveraged effectively and every effort drives measurable results.

As a key member of the ABM team, you will help support the many projects and executional approach required to make our strategy successful. You'll face challenges head-on, take the initiative to find solutions and keep moving forward. You'll be a master of prioritizing ideas and projects to ensure you are focusing your time and energy on the things that matter most and will have the greatest impact on our team and company goals.

We need someone who can drive progress with major initiatives, balancing the strategic and tactical needs of key stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Work with fellow team members to support the execution of our ABM strategy, from data collection & analysis on target accounts to measuring marketing tactics for effectiveness and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across demand generation, revenue operations, marketing operations, sales, content, design, and analytics to create effective ABM programs while ensuring they are well-aligned with broader marketing and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Work with sales leadership to ensure reps are supported as they outbound to target accounts, accounts are handed off smoothly and worked to our shared expectations, and programs are communicated and enabled clearly to key sales teams.
  • Measurement is critical to everything we do. You'll have a measurement plan and work with the marketing operations & analytics teams to ensure we have proper visibility on all ABM programs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in ABM or demand generation
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills - articulating progress, risks, and blockers clearly is critical.
  • Strong analytical skills, but also a good intuitive sense based on your marketing experience in the absence of data.
  • Must be a strong, proactive communicator up, down, and laterally.
  • Experience with 6sense, Outreach, and Salesforce is preferred.
