POSITION SUMMARY:
The role includes worldwide channel oversite for Travel Retail online business across all Brands and Retailers.
Executive Director is responsible for developing and accelerating Travel Retail eCommerce and CRM strategies, execution plans and performance of the e/m commerce business with a focus on the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Global Retailers. Must have a proven track record of launching ecommerce initiatives and growing customer acquisition in a highly competitive industry. This role requires close collaboration with brand marketing, consumer engagement, strategy and local teams.
This role will guide and advise on ecommerce models that drive online conversion and deliver omni experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help shape the overall Travel Retail ecomm acceleration strategies and communicate key priorities to the Regional teams
- Initiate internal and external partnerships, collaboration and projects for ecommerce
- Size and socialize potential ecom opportunities presenting both consumer and commercial business case
- Develop, create, implement and evaluate innovate pilots as functional expert and in partnership with internal teams
- Successfully work with cross-functional teams to enable and drive strategies for local execution, site development, promotions, digital content and online media
Direct Regions on strategic customer acquisition and retention opportunities based on the Brand, region, retail partner, country, airport and platform:
- Create and launch operations of Travel Retail global loyalty programs
- Identify key actionable customer acquisition and retention opportunities through partners
- Develop new acquisition programs
- Develop segmentation approval processes and re-messaging programs
- Architect sophisticated database marketing programs with diverse and innovative testing strategies to ensure optimum campaign success
- Create and maintain successful partnerships with new and emerging online retailer.com accounts; guide co-op practices
- Oversee statements of work and adherence to legal processes for online and CRM
- Lead and partner with various functional teams (education, store design, visual merchandising, special events, etc.) to bring customer acquisition strategies to market
- Provide guidance as needed on special projects
- Leverage in-store technology and mobile experiences to create seamless customer acquisition
- Create, adapt and oversees digital marketing campaign executions
Qualifications - Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a strong sense of accountability
- 10+ years of related experience with an expertise in digital/online
- CRM/Loyalty marketing and paid digital experience for acquisition marketing
- Experience with pure plays, 3PPs and Affiliate Marketing a plus
- Superior ability to build internal and external cross-functional partnerships
- Keen planning skills incorporated with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to expedite and define processes without losing sight of delivering the end goal
- Adapts quickly to change, is flexible and can work well in a matrix environment
- Has a global mindset, is detailed and execution oriented
