Description:We are a dynamic and diverse team on a recurring multi-year, critical program, seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who likes to be challenged, solve problems, and be a contributing member of a mission critical DevOps team. As a member of the team, you will be focused on implementing and documenting automation tools and frameworks to instantiate, augment, and maintain our DevOps CI/CD pipeline. This pipeline will provide for design, build, deployment, and configuration management activities for the work generated by Agile Scrum teams as well as promote adherence to corporate infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards including Change Management, Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity Plan, (DR/BCP), and Security / Government regulatory compliance such as CMMC. The position will also involve coordinating with Architects and scrum teams to ensure streamlined product development processes.
As a member of our Code Name: “DogPatch” team, you will work directly with domain experts and technical staff to support development of front-end and/or back-end applications and services that are integrated into Lockheed Martin “SkunkWorks” product lines. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Experience with developing/debugging and testing of web applications and services.
Scripting skills in languages such as bash, power shell, python and groovy
Windows and/or Linux OS experience
Desired Skills:
Experience with developing in Java and or C++
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and frameworks
Experience with Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo and Confluence) administration and workflows.
Experience with Modern Software Development Practices and Life Cycles, including Agile
Understanding of Corporate Metrics and Reporting tools/methodologies such as Tableau, EVM, etc.
Familiarity modern Hyper-Converged Infrastructure platforms and understanding of PAS and SAS
