How we LEAD:
The Director of Commercial Partnerships, Universal Music Latin America, is responsible for managing partnerships with digital and commercial partners and for developing and negotiating campaigns for new releases and catalog across the region. The position will report to the EVP of E-Commerce, Business Development & Digital, Universal Music Latin America & Iberian Peninsula.
How you’ll CREATE:
• Build and manage relationships with the commercial and digital streaming platforms at a regional level.
• Work with the marketing teams to develop and negotiate unique and innovative marketing campaigns for new releases and catalog.
• Compile and coordinate release schedules and project information and pitches to present to commercial partners.
• Work with the local and central teams on local commercial deal licensing and approvals.
• Oversee and coordinate Brand Partnership pitches at a regional level.
• Analyze placement and market share on playlists and develop strategies to improve performance.
• Review regular performance analysis of projects, market trends, label market share and competitive data.
• Regularly share best practices about the digital platforms with the marketing and artist teams.
• Work on ad-hoc projects based on business evolution and necessities.
Bring your VIBE:
• 5+ years of experience in managing and optimizing content across streaming platforms.
•Strong analytical skills and ability to organize and analyze data and draw actionable conclusions (experience in building data dashboards using Domo, Tableau or Data Studio is a plus).
• Knowledge and understanding of the digital music ecosystem.
• Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish including solid written presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and interact with multiple departments across the company.
