Manager, Industry Marketing - Consumer & Retail

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Industry Marketing - Consumer & Retail to join our Marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Cross-functional Industry Marketing Director, where needed, on the execution of the sector’s overall brand, thought leadership, sponsorship and events strategies
• Support the sector’s thought leadership strategy, ensuring adherence with quality standards, and extend across an omni-channel approach (digital, social media, video, podcast, webinar, blogs, association affiliation, and tradeshow sponsorships)
• Leverage modern technologies to glean data driven insights and develop targeted, customized buyer journeys
• Work with Cross-functional Industry Marketer to define project scope and objectives; identify resources needed reach objectives and manage resources/projects in an effective and efficient manner
• Ensure day-to-day marketing initiatives are aligned with brand identity and objectives
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
• Manage contracts with internal shared services (TL COE, Internal Agency), external vendors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of project management and related marketing experience; Consumer & Retail industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communications skills and executive presence
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
