FLEX Talent Solutions is Marriott International’s internally managed contingent workforce program based out of our global headquarters in Bethesda, MD. JOB SUMMARY
The FLEX Contingent Workforce Operations Manager will be a key member of the FLEX Talent Solutions PMO primarily supporting Marriott’s HQ and above property locations. Key responsibilities include onboarding of FLEX associates as well as collaborating with team members, both in the FLEX org and externally, on program initiatives and special projects involving the VMS, training and development, independent contractor compliance, sourcing, and program growth initiatives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Previous experience working for an internal contingent labor PMO and/or an MSP; or experience handling onboardings in Temporary Staffing, Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources
- Experience working in Vendor Management Systems
- Previous hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Responsible for the end to end hiring process utilizing SAP Fieldglass VMS and Oracle HCM
- Track and manage Fieldglass requisition approvals and separate job postings with pre-identified candidates from the ones who have a sourcing need
- Collaborate with hiring managers and/or HR Business Partners to identify hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
- Partners with HR to determine pay for FLEX assignments based on comp guidelines for level of work being performed
- Provides guidance to hiring managers regarding candidate review and selection.
- Invite contract and project-based talent to join our FLEX Talent Solutions community
- Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Extend verbal and written offers
- Experience with applicant tracking, HR management and vendor management systems to progress and dispositions candidates
- Provide analytical and reporting support
- Re-launch web-based FLEX New Hire Orientation for remote hires
- Develop plan and execute a refreshed in-person FLEX New Hire Orientation for local candidates
- Partner with Learning and Development to incorporate scaled content including company history, culture, growth priorities, pillars etc.
- Develop and maintain FLEX specific content and collateral for recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing informational purposes
- Provide ongoing communication and updates to FLEX associates and their managers as needed
- Responsible for coordinating program delivery and facilitation (as applicable)
- Track FLEX associate training requirements and ensure compliance for all associates
- Communicate with hiring managers regarding associate’s tenure in FLEX and make recommendations for conversion to full time or re-evaluating project needs
- Champion the independent contractor compliance process and work to innovate and improve the engagement process for both the onboarding workers and Marriott managers
- Assist with VMS system configuration to best support the HQ recruiting and onboarding program
