Celonis Data Engineer - Remote

KPMG is currently seeking a Celonis Data Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Analysts and Business Application Owner to translate business requirements and use cases into technical and data requirements
• Identify all the source system tables and fields that need to be brought into Celonis
• Extract, transform and load all source system data needed for each process implemented within Celonis
• Build the Celonis data model for each process; collaborate with relevant business experts to validate the data within Celonis
• Monitor and optimize the performance of all data queries to ensure ideal response times
• Document all technical and data requirements and all extract, transform, load (ETL) work; provide ongoing support for any data-related issues

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of recent SQL coding experience with extensive experience in ETL processes
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher is preferred
• Strong experience with relational databases and data modeling; must have prior Celonis platform experience; Python skills are preferred
• Solid understanding of the data structures of core enterprise systems, especially ServiceNow; familiarity with the data structures of core enterprise systems; Working knowledge of enterprise integration layer such as MuleSoft, Boomi and Apigee
• Thorough understanding of the following: principles for Azure Data Lake (preferred); ERP / CRM systems – SAP; and Salesforce (SAP Data Tables)
• Must be able to provide mentoring to Junior staff
