We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join the Simcenter Horizontal MBSE team. MBSE is about developing a liaison the system requirements and the simulation worlds within an integrated environment. Your goals are split into developing and maintaining various frontend and backend components of Simcenter Studio, a tool for supporting conceptual design, and improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to improve the development process. You will work in a highly dynamic, agile, and multicultural team.

Your role
  • Develop various frontend and backend components of Simcenter Studio.
  • Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines to facilitate development.
  • Have an active role in shaping the future of Simcenter Studio, proposing needs & improvements from a development perspective.
  • Chip in to and write software documentation and tests
  • Coordinate and communicate work effort within the organization.
  • Identify and keep tabs on novel technical concepts and trends

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • At least 2 years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Experience in Python and TypeScript, with an understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software patterns
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, preferably Jenkins and/or Gitlab
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
  • Organized, independent and diligent
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
