Confluent is looking for a Director, EMEA Marketing with a passion for aligning strategies in the region to successfully achieve pipeline and product led growth goals. As the PipeGen Officer for the EMEA, you will define the overall pipegen architecture and plan across Marketing partnering with Sales, Partner Ecosystem, Sales Development and manage performance against that plan. This leader should be experienced in working cross-functionally and cross geography to align our regional-level marketing objectives with the overall marketing objectives to create a marketing strategy for European markets. Additionally, this person will have experience building and growing an EMEA marketing organization in a high-growth company for scale, working as a leader to collaborate with corporate marketing teams and local in-region marketers to build an end-to-end marketing function.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive the execution of the go to market strategy in each region to increase awareness, drive engagement and consideration to maximize the volume, velocity and value of the funnel.
- Build and own the strategy for the localization of our brand, messaging and communication channels, and the content that resonates with the regional audiences in EMEA.
- Partner with Corporate Communications and local press and analyst partners to build relationships with media and stakeholders in each region.
- Partner with the head of Marketing Operations to plan and manage the process, people and technology to achieve the desired pipeline generation and conversion results.
- Partner with the head of Digital to create the biggest impact to our top of funnel for both PG and PLG and increase awareness of the Confluent in the process.
- Partner with the head Partner Marketing teams to shape propositions and offerings that achieve to/through/with partner results and resonates with the local markets.
- Work with Global Events on strategic events and integrate strategic partner GTM plans for EMEA.
- Build exceptional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor for the Sales and Partner leadership within EMEA.
- Lead the delivery of regular and consistent reports and presentations on the status of the EMEA expansion to the CMO and her direct reports along with other executives within Confluent.
- Be part of the company’s strategic planning initiatives. Mentor and eventually scale the existing team to meet the future needs of the EMEA market. Review, analyze, and communicate EMEA performance.
- Manage EMEA regional budget, and pipeline forecast.
What We Are Looking For:
- A wealth of experience in a SaaS-based B2B field or regional marketing in European markets
- Experience building and scaling teams responsible for pipeline field activities
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on quantifiable outcomes derived from field marketing
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally between product marketing, digital marketing, business development, and sales
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with Salesforce and Marketo
- Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations affecting the EMEA market
