Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Software Engineer to support to support the StarLab program.
In this role, you will:
o Perform analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for StarLab software systems and applications
o Perform requirements analysis and development
o Support integrating of outside applications or tools into a production environment
o Ensure systems being developed comply with the application requirements
o Help the development team prepare for program progress milestones (e.g. System Requirements Review, Program Design Review)
o Monitor, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues in development, staging, and operations
o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure DevSecOps requirements are met
o Recommend implementation of efficiencies that will improve the HSSPL baseline

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or equivalent, or a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent of 4 years, or equivalent industry experience.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to perform software integration and test development
• Ability to work with multiple programming languages, operating systems and development environments
• Software development experience with C/C++
• Experience in design and development of hardware to software integration
• Basic understanding of the behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain issues at both a technical and non-technical level
