IT Business Analyst

As an IT business analyst, you’ll work to develop leading-edge applications, systems, and products and support our client’s digital transformation strategy. Working with your team of developers, testers, other business analysts, and alongside internal and external stakeholders, you’ll identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll guide your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to internal and external Public Health stakeholders. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment
• 3+ years of experience working as an IT business analyst
• Experience with technology work and requirements analysis
• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
• Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while continuing to meet deadlines
• Ability to elicit requirements from clients and communicate clearly to development team
• Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including leading product demonstrations and hands-on testing
