Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Associate Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) for a position based in Orlando, FL. This position is for the Missiles and Fire Control Central Supplier Quality organization. The position will require working flexible hours. Duties include:
Support Supplier Quality Field Representative assignment activities and 3rd Party activities. Primary support for the field asset management activities team on source inspection activities, survey requests and assignments, 3rd party billing, onboarding, and management. Provide support for field quality representatives as needed.
Perform PO Overrides in support of programs, Supplier Helpdesk function for programs, SQFRs, and suppliers.
Support Procurement activities in processing and flowing down Quality Requirements.
Process MMR’s (Quality Clause PO Text Notes, and Inspection Set-Ups).
Provide Procure to Pay (P2P) and SAP support, and problem resolution.
Support functional supplier quality activities such as process development/improvement activities, Command Media, PO Text Notes / Quality Clause creation, review, and revision.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
A basic understanding of the SAP and Procure to Pay
Experience working in an Aerospace / Defense or manufacturing environment
Experience with working with suppliers in a dynamic environment
Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
An understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
Effective public presentation and communication skills
Experience using statistical and engineering software
ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA and/or CQIA)
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
