Public Health Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Work with federal and commercial public health clients to provide general management consulting and public health operations support. Perform a variety of public health development, implementation, and consulting tasks. Gather business requirements for business processes and review and analyze collected data using standard practices and techniques in the fields of specialization. Work on assignments that are complex under direct supervision while developing technical expertise. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and escalate more complex issues to higher levels. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a public health setting
  • Experience working with public health staff to gather requirements needed to execute on data analysis, queries, or visualizations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to support report writing and data dissemination
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

​Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal or commercial healthcare or public health organizations and programs
  • Experience with visualization tools, including Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience developing communication products
  • Master's degree

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $65,000 to $75,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
