Job Description

About the Role The Product Ops team is focused on ensuring thredUP Ops adheres to procedures and protocols by auditing and providing feedback at the appropriate touch points within the Ops organization. You will help us ensure that Ops accepts items of the right quality, records the right information, and takes amazing photos. You will also apply your love of fashion and/or the resale industry to help us honor our promises to suppliers and buyers. As a Product Ops Coordinator , you will be based in a distribution center and will report to a Product Ops Supervisor. Your work will be primarily focused on one of these three areas : Quality Assurance (QA) Ops, Pricing & Authentication, or general projects on product. As you fine-tune your skills, you may be asked to support other areas, tackle special projects, and mentor others according to business needs.

Responsibilities

    • Virtually audit product quality, description, and photo
    • Provide quick and clear feedback to team members and merch ops leadership based on audit findings
    • Audit thredUP.com frequently to ensure photos and product information are aligned to meet or exceed training and customer expectations
    • Explore product opportunities in the ways Product Ops can improve quality, description and photography
    • Focus on pricing and authentication with an emphasis on lower level authentication brands Receives exposure to higher risk authentication brands as the business allows
    • Regularly monitor, audit and update the internal pricing tables of a broad range of retailers
    • Assist in educating itemizers about brands and product acceptance
    • Partner with Product Ops Supervisor to ensure FIFO is maintained for all items in the Under Review queue
    • Support Customer Service team in price update requests.

Requirements

    • Knowledge of apparel quality standards (experience with secondhand is a plus!)Ability to identify, prioritize, and complete tasks under tight deadlines
    • Strong organization and scheduling skills
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and operate with minimal supervision
    • Flexibility, creativity and willingness to optimize processes
    • Ability to bend down, reach overhead, lift/carry up to 30lbs and push/pull wheeled clothing racks weighing up to 150lbs.
    • Located near Lancaster, TX - about 15 miles from downtown Dallas
