Posted: Jun 28, 2022 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200390129 The Technology team in Apple’s Worldwide Marketing Communications (Marcom) group is responsible for a number of areas including systems infrastructure and internal tools used by Apple business partners across the globe. The team implements solutions for Marcom’s unique needs in the Planning, Workflow, Localization, and Digital Asset Management domains. The Marcom Tools Success Manager focuses on developing a deep knowledge of these internal applications to evangelize solutions with end users within and outside the organization. A key part of the job is understanding end-to-end business processes in the relevant realm and work with solution providers to implement solutions that meet those business needs. A Successful Tools Success Manager is be able to blend strategic and tactical skills, providing thought leadership and comprehensive ownership of the success of the program. This role includes creating short and long term plans for the successful adoption of solutions with relevant teams within Marcom, as well as creating robust reusable training content for future use. Additionally the Marcom Tools Success Manager will engage with Product Managers to report feedback from onboarding sessions in order to improve the product. Success is defined by the ability to create a detailed and measurable plan based on a deep understanding of business process, matched with the capabilities of the application, creation of robust content to achieve adoption of the application across the Marcom organization, and devising a long term growth and enhancement plan with attainable scope and clear priorities.

  • A minimum of 8 years experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities in a complex enterprise or marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated success implementing customer success programs in a complex enterprise creative environment.
  • Experience as a key member of a matrixed, cross-functional team. Able to work equally well with people in creative and technical positions.
  • Able to apply sound judgment while working independently within timelines.
  • Outstanding attention to detail in creating project workflows, schedules, and documentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communicator, with great interpersonal skills. Able to forge trusting relationships within a diverse team.
  • Fanatical about creating order from disorder. Understands the right level of process and can create detailed documentation tailored for the specific details of this project.
  • Technical background, experience working with technical projects, or hands-on technical experience developing software tools.
  • Understands software development methodologies, Agile preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), print and interactive image production, or digital video technologies (including video production workflows).
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with business process within a creative agency environment.
  • Strong ability to establish long term, trusted relationships with a broad array of partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive and implement success strategies in a complex, diverse organization with different workflow and needs.
  • Strong tactical people skills with the ability to create robust success programs and implement processes in large matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to develop broad perspective on an organization and ability to use that knowledge to develop new strategies and options for adoption and onboarding.
  • Self awareness to adjust your interpersonal approach to individuals and situations as needed to effectively work with others.
  • Effectively communicate with global partners with varied marketing and technical strengths.
  • Persistence to discover and eliminate complexity and ambiguity in projects to ensure clarity and establish goals and expectations for services requested.
  • Understand complex technical projects and can quickly learn about new technologies and solutions to lead their implementation.
  • Maintain momentum on a project and will diligently follow every detail through to its completion.

Description

Description - Become immersed in the creative Marcom environment to gain a thorough understanding of business processes. - Develop significant knowledge of the precise capabilities of the current solution, future roadmap and upcoming solutions, and divergent paths that lead to the successful use of the solution. - Devise easy to consume organized content hosted on a common platform enabling easy access and re-use. - Engage with users and partners to organize onboarding sessions and train users on the correct and efficient use of the solution. - Develop robust strategy to keep the content updated and relevant to the partners - Devise a repeatable training mechanism so others can continue to onboard new users - Observe and report on adoption metrics - Be an advocate for partners by providing feedback to the product team to enhance the product based on usage
