About the role

The Digital Marketing Specialist has responsibility for all of the Siemens PSE (SPSE) online content; ensuring the company is promoted well on all relevant online channels, including mobile, and that the content, tone and branding of the online content is consistent with the corporate template and our customer base. In Siemens DI PA terms, it is effectively a communications role.

The role includes responsibility for working with the SPSE Campaign Manager and Business Unit personnel and others to build and disseminate regular and engaging digital marketing content across different digital channels (primarily LinkedIn, but also Facebook, Instagram and internal channels such as Yammer as appropriate). The overall intention is to ensure positive online customer experiences based on an understanding of evolving consumer behaviours.

This role reports to the SPSE Marketing Director with dotted line to the Siemens DIPA Head of Communications and works closely with others in the marketing team and HR for employer branding.

Area of responsibility

Working with the relevant people in the Siemens PSE and wider DI PA marketing teams, your responsibilities will include:

· Managing, maintaining and promoting the SPSE presence on the Siemens website in such a way as to:

o ensure a positive customer website experience that is efficient and fulfils customers' and prospects’ needs

o support the company corporate and product positioning

o support sales campaign activities

o maximize traffic using the various evolving techniques available

o measure and report performance of all website traffic, digital marketing campaigns and assessing results, and perform ongoing optimization.

o generally ensuring a high level of web content, working closely with

§ the Siemens marketing, design teams and web teams

§ internal content owners

· Driving and managing Siemens PSE’s continued social media presence:

o plan and execute all web and social media activity in support of formal marketing & sales campaigns

o actively work with the Campaign Manager, the Business Units and other Siemens PSE divisions such as HR to identify upcoming general social media requirements (for example, in support of papers, articles, events, awards, etc.) and generate the requisite materials

o assess and improve web marketing best practices including search engine marketing, use of google ad-words and links to other social media channels

o Evaluate customer experience across various online channels and propose how to improve it where necessary.

· The role will also initially involve managing the systematic integration of the Siemens PSE website within the new Siemens web structure

· Work with the SPSE Campaign Manager to help devise structures and architecture in support of a joined-up campaign and marketing automation integrated with web and social media.

· Work with HR to ensure we have a consistent online employer brand presence and regularly post engaging content for potential employees across social media channels

· Assist with key company events e.g. the Advanced Process Modelling Forum as required.
