XUMO is a leading entertainment technology company, bringing the best in digital video direct to consumers on the screens that they love most. XUMO is based in Irvine, California and joined the Comcast family in February of 2020. Role: Xumo is looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager (Core TV, O&O) to join our exceptional product team. This individual contributor will be responsible for multiple facets of the product lifecycle, acting as a Product Owner and overseeing process, implementation and delivery of new product launches and existing platform enhancements. This role will focus XUMO’s core application suite, including Smart TVs, OTT streaming devices, Mobile and Natively integrated product solutions and will assume responsibility for new and emerging distribution platforms while also enhancing the existing executions for longer user engagement and broader monetization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Think strategically and creatively to gather product and process insights from key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and prioritize them to achieve high impact.
  • Negotiate with Engineering on product requirements to ensure alignment on short and long-term growth initiatives
  • Develop detailed product requirements working with cross-functional teams for features and capabilities that help drive growth and engagement
  • Test and optimize specific parts of the user journey that will drive success metrics for retention
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience within entertainment, technology or digital media
  • Passionate about the Free Ad Supported Television industry and its emerging trends
  • Proven track record for shipment of highly-scaled consumer client application in an agile product or digital media role
  • Active participation in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Customer Support teams
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Agile or SCRUM certification preferred

Education

Bachelor's Degree
