200389548 The Textile Innovation Lab (TIL) is a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers, working on developing groundbreaking technologies that blend electronics and textiles into breathtaking products. We are seeking a highly innovative engineer to join our team and help push the boundaries of what textiles can offer to our users. In this role, you will be a part of an entire product development cycle, from early proof-of-concepts to detailed design and shipping. Short-term responsibilities will include designing and building prototypes to explore the landscape in partnership with our elite Industrial Design and Human Factors teams. Long term, you will have the opportunity to define our product system architecture.
Key Qualifications
Key Qualifications
- Solid engineering fundamentals and mechanical design skills.
- Typically requires 7+ years of CAD experience; NX preferred.
- You should have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience with Python/MATLAB for data visualization and analysis is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with Softgoods materials and assembly processes is a nice-to-have but if these are new to you, you will quickly learn by working closely with our team.
