Job Description

Bosch Thermotechnology are recruiting for Field Service Engineer Apprentices to start in September 2022.

This Apprenticeship is designed to give you the skills and knowledge to professionally service and maintain Worcester domestic heating products. An accredited ACS gas safety element is included which will allow membership on the Gas Safe register.

You will attend college on a block-release basis, learning the principles to underpin and embed knowledge gained with your mentor.

Working alongside your mentor, you will:

• Travel to customer homes and sites.
• Maintain, repair and service Worcester domestic heating products to a high standard.
• Provide a world-class level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage your time to ensure efficient completion of work.
• Liaise with contacts across the organisation to solve problems and achieve targets.
• Learning about new technologies.

We have 2 pathways on offer for this years' Apprenticeship scheme:

• A 2.5 year programme including your Level 2 Plumbing and ACS Gas Safety - minimum requirements: 4 GCSE grade A-C or 4-9 (including Maths and English) or equivalent.
• A 1.5 year programme for those who already hold a Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) including the completion of your ACS Gas Safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to use own initiative and creativity to solve problems.
• Motivated, adaptable, hardworking and imaginative.
• Hold, or be working towards a full UK driving license.
• Have evidence of 4 GCSE grade A-C or 4-9 (including Maths and English) or equivalent.

Standard working week is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday; Mon – Thurs 08.00 – 17.00; Friday 08.00 – 17.00 with an hour lunch break.
