Job Description

In 2005, Smartsheet was founded on the idea that teams and millions of people worldwide deserve a better way to achieve their very best work. Today, we provide a leading cloud-based platform for work execution, empowering organizations to plan, capture, track, automate, and report on work at scale, resulting in more efficient processes and better results.

Sheets are the heart and soul of our product, with more than 80% of our users interacting with them on a daily basis. As a Senior PM on the Mobile Team, you’ll work with Research, Design, and Engineering to deliver a new, modern sheet experience on Mobile. This isn’t just building a new grid layout; it extends far beyond to encompass all of our sheets and report experiences on Mobile across the various layouts we support. You’ll work closely with the desktop Views organization to understand their customers, the key use cases we both share, and identify opportunities to deliver delightful mobile-only experiences where it makes sense. You’ll own the experience end-to-end, delivering a consistent user journey for desktop companion users and uniquely mobile journeys for field workers. You'll partner with other product and customer-facing teams across the organization to address critical business needs. As the backbone of the mobile app, you'll ensure mobile customers' first touch with the platform is seamless, performant, and delightful.

You'll report to a Director of Product Management and can be based remotely or at our Bellevue, WA Headquarters.

You will:

  • Understand the needs of mobile users to build products with great market fit and that fuel future growth.
  • Create and refine a compelling vision and roadmap for a modern sheet experience.
  • Work with our customers to ensure their needs are met by our current and future roadmap.
  • Be as comfortable in a room of engineers discussing business logic as you are with clients building relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Drive the release process end-to-end: Establish the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, execute and iterate.
  • Know when to make trade-offs, when to hold firm, and be willing to stand behind your decision.
  • Work closely with both your own and cross-organizational teams to create compelling and compliant customer experiences.
  • Support other duties as needed.

You have:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • 3+ years experience working on B2B or B2C mobile apps on Android and iOS.
  • Experience delivering software products from inception to launch.
  • Pride in creating delightful user experiences.
  • Focus on metrics and analytics.
  • Experience with agile development processes and frequent product releases.
  • High degree of adaptability/flexibility, able to integrate quickly with an existing team.
  • A strong “listen-first” mentality, allowing both customers and coworkers to express their needs or points of view.
  • Technical degree, or equivalent experience working with engineers to make product decisions on behalf of customers.

Perks & Benefits:

  • HSA,100% employer-paid premiums, or Buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees
  • Equity - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) with all offers
