Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us in starting something remarkable as a Application and Calibration Engineer Software System Designer

Your contribution to something big:

· Responsible for Change Request and Requirement Management for customer teams and worldwide Bosch teams

· Evaluate customer requirements to deploy calibration software architecture

· Execute and document the SW- and System tests and verify the results

· Responsible for System and SW requirements analysis, internal request to System and SW components

· Develops and analysis the impact of ECU System Requirements, System Functionality Requirements and Software Requirements, in collaboration with the system architect.

· Review of requirements or architectural design elements and related verification criteria in order to ensure test ability

· Evaluation, presentation and reporting of powertrain & vehicle test results.

· Troubleshooting on customer sites.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

· BS/MS or equivalent engineering degree in mechatronics, controls, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or related technical field is preferred.

· Very good knowledge and active user of MATLAB / Simulink and VBA (in MS-Excel). Python experience is a plus

· Knowledge in systems engineering methods (requirements engineering, architecture, rapid prototyping, agile methods)

· Knowledge on automotive communication protocols like CAN, Flex Ray and etc.

· Familiar with agile development methodology and documentation in Jira or any similar platforms as well as with contributing issue reporting.

· Experience in embedded software development for automotive industry.

· Knowledge of Automotive SW Tools such as Inca, ATI Vision, CanAlyzer, etc)

· Knowledge about FMEA , Matlab is a plus

· Strong analytical and technical skills with respect to problem solving

· Independent and flexible working style

· Strong commitment to customer satisfaction

· Driving License, ability and willingness to travel

· Fluency in English (German is an asset)
