Product Marketing Manager, Customer Success

Role:

Do you wake up each morning with Customer Success and growth on your mind? Are you interested in learning the customer end-to-end journey and decoding how customers get value from the Splunk portfolio of products? If so, then we need you as Splunk's newest CS PMM!

CS PMMs are part of the Customer Success Marketing organization and are responsible for crafting and optimizing the ideal path(s) to value for our customers across Splunk offerings. They work to educate, inspire, and empower Splunk customers and our partners. You will lead efforts to deliver programs that guide customers in product onboarding, growing usage, adopting apps, upgrading to cloud and engaging with Splunk Community and educational resources, in the Splunk Security product area. Tactics will include smart technical content, gamification, personalization, online and in-person programs and close partnership with the product team on in-application suggestions.

You can be based out of Splunk’s headquarters in San Francisco or San Jose, California or you can join remotely. This is a rare opportunity for you to join a fast-growing, dynamic, and industry-leading enterprise technology company.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate and own growth hacks that improve customer onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewals. Test and iterate through data-driven experiments to inform and improve journey, campaign and content strategies.
  • Develop creative programs to promote new features and use cases to targeted install base customers, that results in higher pipeline attachment rates.
  • Use critical metrics and customer interview insights to assess risks in product onboarding/adoption, and design + produce remediation plans and content.
  • Analyze web, community and support engagement data to identify content gaps and craft technical content, collaborating with Splunk SMEs, that applies to various user and technical practitioner personas.
  • Evangelize and demonstrate Splunk’s value proposition at various marketing events including user conferences, customer briefings, webinars etc.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software: customer-facing experience a plus
  • Experience crafting and carrying out enterprise software customer retention and loyalty programs
  • Strong technical and analytical skills; outstanding content creation and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, and career defining environment
  • Collaboration skills and demonstrated success delivering results
  • BA or BS required; MBA preferred. Past experience in a customer success, product marketing or product management role is a huge plus.
